Millennial Medicine

There is a lot of buzz out there about how Millennials are changing healthcare. This generation, born between 1980 and 2000 is highly educated, self-confident and technologically savvy. They use the Internet to self-diagnose, are highly distrustful of brands, and are very in tune with their health – exercising and eating healthier than previous generations.

But while many focus on how Millennials are consuming healthcare, something important goes overlooked: how Millennials are providing healthcare.

These Millennial physicians are bringing new ideas about what’s “in” and what’s “out” when it comes to practicing medicine, where they get information and what they expect from the companies they interact with.

How will medical device companies adapt to the needs of this new generation of doctors? Only time will tell. Download the full-sized infographic here.
