Holley is a top-performing and award-winning professional with a distinguished 20-year medtech career meeting key performance indexes in highly competitive and demanding markets. She has embodied the roles of strategic planner, branding champion, and customer retention expert, with a proven record of capturing new markets, impeding competition, and accelerating revenue growth. She was named the 2006 Medical Marketer of the Year by the Medical Marketing Association and worked in the product marketing, marketing communications, and public/investor relations functions for several publicly traded medical device companies, such as Allergan and Intuitive Surgical, with both domestic and international responsibilities. In 2006, Holley founded Grey Matter Marketing, the first medtech brand performance agency designed to help companies achieve and sustain an unfair competitive advantage. She resides in the Bay Area but will always call the South home, so don’t be surprised if you get an email from her with “y’all” in it. LinkedIn


Janelle has 20 years of life sciences agency experience working as a brand strategist, account and project manager, creative wrangler, and most importantly, a trusted partner to clients. Her vast experience includes working with life science companies domestically and globally, with a wide range of disease states and products, on pre-commercial, launch and post-launch initiatives. She brings a unique perspective to any marketing challenge, has an entrepreneurial spirit, challenges the status quo, and you can always count on her to inject a bit of comedy into any situation. Janelle resides in the Bay Area with her husband and two young daughters. To decompress, she watches an embarrassing amount of Bravo and scours real estate apps for homes wildly outside her price range. LinkedIn


Deborah has 10 years of experience in building and activating life sciences and technology brands across the US, Europe and Asia. She has deep expertise in corporate and product branding, content development, marketing and communications for companies such as Merck, Roche/Genentech, Novo Nordisk, MicroPort, Eppendorf, and Microsoft. In her previous roles and currently, Deborah wears multiple hats including business development, brand/business strategy, account management, and creative development. She has a background in ancient history and linguistics as well as an MBA. Deborah is from England and is currently living and working from sunny Florida. LinkedIn


Emily is a results-oriented communicator with a passion for storytelling and healthcare. As an account executive, Emily ensures that our clients receive outstanding communication, and approaches problem solving with an entrepreneurial mindset. She has experience taking complex subjects and turning them into digestible messaging and materials to effectively drive conversations and conversions with target audiences. She’s refined her marketing skills by wearing a variety of hats to dive into data and identify opportunities for optimization to meet client goals. Her favorite part about her job is to own, define, and refresh clients’ brand voice, messaging, and positioning to ensure consistency of value propositions. Joshua R. Mansbach is an integrated healthcare communications strategist, storyteller, and content creator with more than 23 years of experience leading programs for global biotech, device, diagnostics, healthcare-technology, and pharmaceutical companies. Joshua has launched blockbuster brands and created award-winning communications campaigns that have positioned companies and their leaders as industry experts who are catalyzing conversations about advancing science and how to improve patient outcomes. Joshua’s professional passion is helping organizations utilize the art of storytelling to create authentic connections and build trust with stakeholders, humanize science, and ensure their value proposition is memorable. YoLawnda has over 10 years of promotional advertising experience in the life sciences industry, working in project and program management. She has worked on campaigns spanning a wide range of products and disease states, providing pre-clinical through post-launch support for clients. In this time, she has honed her scoping, execution, and problem-solving skills to the precision edge of a samurai sword. Her favorite part of this work is helping to support talented creatives in bringing brands to life through compelling storytelling and captivating visuals. Since moving agency-side at Grey Matter and to the life sciences industry, she thrives on streamlining workflows and improving efficiencies and productivity so the team can focus on helping clients do what matters most. She has a deep understanding of what it takes to build and maintain a high-performing team and champions a work environment where each team member feels valued and supported. But don’t be fooled—Beth works hard and plays just as hard. Her extensive list of passions includes horseback riding in the desert and exploring new cultures and places worldwide.
